I started Elora after serving as a caregiver for my late father, a dual-eligible veteran. Dealing with cancer, kidney disease and more, the hardest part wasn't the medical timeline – it was the fragmented care ecosystem.

The 4 AM calls—finding him wandering, or when transportation was late due to snow. The months spent searching for reliable senior living options, sorting through impossible spreadsheets of services, and feeling like every call just gave me another to do list with no answers.

I saw countless dedicated workers, who wanted to offer any help they could, working with binders, spreadsheets, and outdated software.

My career has been built on solving complex social challenges with right place, right time technology. From studying complex systems as a political science professor, to developing supply chain technology and workforce tech to empower people and sustainability.

This technology exists – It is not impossible to unify this ecosystem and elevate these underserved communities.

The most important moments I remember weren't searching for care. They were spending time with loved ones—seeing my dad so happy to eat apple pie with grandkids and take them fishing. Those are the moments we want people to have.

Our mission is to ensure no caregiver or care worker has to spend their precious time sorting options instead of simply caring for the person in front of them.
